Ripon High School-
Out of all the high schools in the area, Ripon High School is one of the best by far. Not only well ranked locally, it is ranked in the top 1400 schools in the nation. Offering a diverse range of both Advanced Placement and College Prep classes, Ripon High has a place for every student to succeed and thrive.
The staff is also a highlight of the school. With only around 900 children attending Ripon High School the classes usually have no more than 30 students in each, allowing for a better learning environment. The teachers put in extra time daily, working overtime to help students reach their goals. The principle, Keith Rangel, even attended Ripon High himself before working there years later. With this dedicated and supportive staff, students really have the best chance for success.
In addition to being a great school for academics, the sports teams at RHS are also some of the best. The Ripon High School football team is ranked in the top 500 teams in California and the boys varsity basketball team is ranked in the top 300. Both the varsity girls volleyball team and the varsity girls softball team won the 2016 Sac-Joaquin Section title in their respective sports, volleyball going undefeated 12-0 in league. The varsity girls swim team has won the VOL title three years in a row and the varsity boys water polo team won the Sac-Joaquin Section title in 2016. And that is just scraping the surface of all the programs RHS has to offer to its students.
Along with sports and great classes, students at Ripon High also have numerous clubs to choose from, and new clubs are being added every year. A few of the most notorious clubs are Pride Tribe, the school’s spirit club, Block R, for getting varsity letters, Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA), and the California Scholarship Federation (CSF). With all of these options, the diversity of Ripon High School is unmatched, and it the perfect place for students to learn and grow into great young adults.
